Following the national and regional news updates, the network will hand over the reins to ITV Racing Live: Royal Ascot. Live coverage from the iconic Berkshire racecourse will kick off at 1:30 PM and run all the way through to 6:00 PM.
Broadcasting veterans Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani will lead the afternoon’s racing coverage, supported by top-tier racing analysts and commentators. Regrettably for loyal viewers, Monday’s episode was the final Loose Women broadcast for the entire week. Due to the comprehensive, week-long nature of the Royal Ascot coverage, the show will remain completely off the air until after the weekend.
Anchor Ruth Langsford formally broke the news to viewers at the end of Monday’s episode, explaining the sudden disappearance.
“That’s it for today. And for the rest of the week, actually,” Ruth announced. “Loose Women is off because of Ascot. We’ll be back in a week’s time. But I’m actually going to be back on Friday, because I’m covering Lorraine. Loose Women is back on Monday.”
