🐾 Pete Wicks Sends Fans Into A Frenzy With The Dogs’ Sake Update Viewers Had Been Hoping For

Pete Wicks has shared what fans have called ‘the best news’ as he offered an update on his popular show, Pete Wicks: For Dog’s Sake.

The reality star and  podcast host won praise from fans last year following the release of his very own series for U&W, which he called “a real passion project” for him, in which he joins the Dogs Trust in Basildon, Essex, to help rehabilitate canines and find them a new forever home.

In April 2025, Pete was thrilled to confirm that he’ll be back with not just one, but two new series and a Christmas special following the incredible reaction to the first series.

The Christmas special and the second and third series have already aired. But now, Pete has confirmed that a fourth series is now being filmed, and has promised that the new series will be full of “raw emotion and real stories”.

Not only that, there will be a two-part overseas special which will see Pete go beyond the UK for the first time on the show. Announcing the news, Pete said: “It’s official – we are back! Series 4 of Pete Wicks: For Dogs Sake is underway and I think it’s gonna be the best series yet!”

Pete added: “I am so blessed to be able to work alongside @dogstrust in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs in need…this is all I’ve ever wanted to do. We are travelling across the country bringing you the raw emotion and real stories of life at Dogs Trust, the beautiful dogs and the heroes who help.”

He has since offered an update on filming and taking to Instagram this week with a string of new photos, the former Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) cast member told his followers: “Filming is back underway at @dogstrust for series 4 of @petewicksfordogssake (Swipe for a surprise).More dogs, more journeys and a new outfit! Coming soon to @uandw_ or you can stream Series 1-3 now @streamonu.”

And fans were quick to respond. @streamonu said: “The best news!!” @flynn_and_ginny commented: “So glad you are doing another series!” @shirleyjulieanne gushed “Can’t wait I love watching you fall in love with all the dogs.” @brensunbathe added: “Can’t wait to see new series and those wonderful dogs. Those dogs love you Pete, as much as you love them.”
