After years of heading down under to film I’m A Celebrity, Ant McPartlin is seriously considering moving across the world and relocating his family down under.

The TV presenter, 50, who has two year old son Wilder with wife Anne-Marie Corbett and two teenage step-daughters, believes he can offer his family a better way of living in Australia.

Speaking to co-star Declan Donnelly on their podcast Hanging Out, Ant said: “I always think that when we do I’m A Celebrity every year in Australia, the kids play outside all the time, the lifestyle is really good.

“And I have thought about in the future maybe, maybe I would.

“Especially the Gold Coast area where we shoot I’m A Celebrity, it’s just so lovely.

“The [food] is really good and the coffee is really good.”

However, before he uproots his family Ant said he’d love to explore some more of the country first admitting that he’s not seen much of Northern Australia.

The Britain’s Got Talent presenter continued: “But what we’ve never done is never explored really the rest of Australia, apart from years ago when we were releasing music (as PJ & Duncan).

“We went to Melbourne, and Sydney and Brisbane but we’ve explored the northern territory but I’d love to.”

Ant reflected on when he first left Newcastle to chase a career in music alongside Dec as PJ & Duncan and admitted he regrets not taking a moment to say a proper goodbye to his family home.

He shared: “We never really had that moment – You know when you move out, or kids go to university, or people move out the house and you say goodbye.

“We never really had that moment of moving out because we just away for a couple of weeks to do this road show and then we came back and then we went away for a few more weeks to do a promo tour and then we came back to Newcastle.

“And then we just never kind of went back and I still look back on it now with sadness that we never had that moment.”
