🔥 SOAP WORLD CROSSOVER: SINISTER NEWCOMER PIPPA FULTON HAS SECRETLY BEEN IN EMMERDALE TWICE BEFORE!.tt

The village of Emmerdale is currently gripped by a harrowing hostage crisis as young Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) finds himself at the mercy of a deeply unhinged and violent criminal.

The woman pulling the strings is the sinister Kylie, portrayed by Pippa Fulton. Fresh off an intense eight-year prison sentence, Kylie has already established herself as a terrifying presence in the Dales, showcasing a chilling obsession with surgical scalpels and a complete lack of empathy.

A Steamy Past and a Reality TV Legacy

While Kylie is currently causing absolute chaos for the Barton family, this is far from actress Pippa Fulton’s first rodeo in the Dales. Interestingly, this isn’t even her first storyline alongside Michael Parr, who plays Ross Barton. Back in 2014, the two shared a passionate, steamy one-night stand on screen. Fulton later popped up in the village again in a completely different guest role, playing a demanding customer at the Dales’ premier wedding planning agency, Take A Vow.

Beyond Emmerdale, soap fans might also recognize Fulton from a memorable guest stint in Coronation Street, where she played a pivotal role in Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) disastrous first attempt at online dating.

For viewers with a long memory, her face will be familiar from the early 2000s reality TV boom. Fulton originally shot to fame in 2002 as a contestant on the BBC’s hit music competition Fame Academy, which famously went head-to-head with ITV’s Pop Idol before both were eclipsed by The X Factor.

The Hunt for ‘Penny’

In the current storyline, Kylie is driven by a singular, obsessive goal: she wants her beloved ‘Penny’ back. However, ‘Penny’ isn’t a person—it’s a priceless diamond that was stolen by Lewis’s eccentric yet lovable father, Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill).

The nightmare began just as a nervous Lewis finally conquered his anxiety, preparing to hop into a taxi to the airport. He was supposed to jet off on a spontaneous, romantic holiday with his new boyfriend, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). Instead, he was ambushed, wrestled into a waiting vehicle, and driven away to a secret location.

Shortly after the abduction, a panicked Ross received a chilling text message informing him that his brother was in mortal danger. The ransom note explicitly stated that Lewis’s father was in possession of ‘Penny’ and that Kylie wanted it returned immediately. Kylie later confronted Ross directly, warning him that the diamond was the most precious thing in her world, and if the trade wasn’t made, Lewis would be executed.

“If I don’t get her back, Lewis is as good as dead,” Kylie menacingly declared.

A Human Insurance Policy

As Ross frantically initiated a manhunt, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) was forced to drop a massive bombshell: the biological father mentioned in the text message was almost certainly Kev. At that point, Liam and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) were the only people in the village who knew the truth about Lewis’s real paternity.

Realizing that Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) was the only person who knew where Kev was hiding, Liam begged her to cooperate. Her intel led Ross and Liam to a mobile catering van where Kev was busy selling cakes. Predictably, tensions flared, and Ross and Kev came to blows, leaving Liam scrambling to act as the voice of reason.

When pressed for answers about ‘Penny’, Kev claimed he had pawned the diamond ages ago. A furious Ross demanded he track it down and buy it back immediately. However, the moment Ross walked away, Kev revealed a massive twist to the audience: ‘Penny’ wasn’t at a pawn shop at all—it was fastened to a necklace hidden right around his neck.

With time running out, a sadistic Kylie contacted Ross to boast about her fondness for scalpels and her excitement at the prospect of using one on Lewis. She also gave Kev a strict deadline to hand over the jewel by the end of the day.

Finding Kev in a state of escalating panic, Ross grew completely fed up as the older man tripped over his own lies regarding the diamond’s true location. Desperate to save his brother, Ross knocked Kev unconscious, deciding to use him as a human insurance policy before heading off to face crazy Kylie in a high-stakes final showdown.
