Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have shocked fans after they were seen arriving this afternoon at Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s royal wedding today. The York sisters looked lovely as they were seen walking into the church with their husbands by their sides, being greeted at the entrance by Mike and Zara Tindall.
Their appearance comes as a surprise after it was reported that the sisters had been invited but were unlikely to attend. This is because, according to reports, they did not want to overshadow the big day as a result of scandals surrounding the York family. Their appearance comes after the royal properties investigation was published this week.

The damning document uncovered that Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, do not pay rent on their royal properties. Instead, the bill is footed by their uncle, the King. This has sparked a public backlash.
Their shock appearance today also comes after months of scandals surrounding their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and their mother Sarah Ferguson.
These scandals have seen their divorced parents lose their royal titles and Royal Lodge homes, despite the fact Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing and accusations.
It is not known whether Beatrice and Eugenie, 36, are on talking terms with their parents, who were not invited to the wedding today.

The sisters looked nervous but happy to be attending the happy family occasion, with Beatrice, 37, holding hands with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Eugenie, who is heavily pregnant with her third child, also looked radient in her navy blue dress.
It is believed the sisters have a close relationship with their cousin Peter, who would no doubt have really wanted them to attend.
