It may feel like Bold & Beautiful’s Steffy and Finn have been kinda’ back-burnered of late, but as it turns out, they’ve just been on the warming plate. Yes, folks, things are about to heat up for a “Sinn” summer. That said, it may not be all good news for their fans.
While Steffy had a lot to say about Taylor’s involvement with Sheila’s Husband™, and has been active in a professional capacity, Finn’s been largely supporting, only popping in and out to ask questions and have his wife’s back (or rub her shoulders).
Sure, Steffy came “thisclose” to losing her co-CEO position to Brooke, and has had some drama with Hope surrounding the delay of her Hope For the Future line, but she and Finn haven’t had a storyline of their own since the Luna days. Of course, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood took maternity leave after the birth of her fifth child, son Talon, which explains some of their down time.
Unfortunately for Steffy and Finn fans, a hot new storyline probably means there is trouble in the works. After all, what’s a plot without drama? It could have to do with the brewing fashion battle between Logan and Forrester, but it’s more likely to be personal if it involves both Steffy and Finn.
As we’re all well aware, Sheila is down, but never out. She could be licking her wounds and regrouping before returning to cause chaos for her bio son’s family. In fact, we’ve already predicted some drama on that front if Sheila’s roommate is [Spoiler], as we expect.
If not Sheila, it could be romantic trouble. Steffy might need to steal Liam back from Hope to get even for her defecting from Forrester, although we think that “ship” has finally sailed. Another of Steffy’s exes is back on the scene though. Wyatt seems unlikely to divert Steffy’s attention from Finn, but Darin Brooks did tease unfinished business for his character, so one can never say never. They did get married, after all!
Whatever is ahead for “Sinn,” we’re just happy to look forward to a blockbuster new story full of drama. Hopefully, as has been a pattern with them, they will be able to weather whatever this storm brings and come out the other side stronger.
