Ken, a former postmaster and councillor, appeared in the reality show for five series alongside wife Anne.
They were regulars on the programme after joining in 2020, starring in Series 15 to 19 across two years.
Ken, who was married to his beloved Anne for 55 years, died last week.
Gogglebox production firm Studio Lambert confirmed the tragic news in a heartbreaking statement.
It read: “Ken will be dearly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law, Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram, and all who knew him.
“There will be a tribute to Ken at the end of Channel 4’s episode on Gogglebox tonight.”
Ken famously presented his wife with a large bouquet of flowers during their debut appearance on the hit show.
It featured 50 roses – one for every year they’ve been married – much to the delight of fans.
Anne joked: “You’ve put me to shame now with a card and roses, and I got you nothing.
“But you have me and that’s all you need.”
Fans of the show hailed how quickly the couple settled in, highlighting their hilarious comments about Meghan Markle’s move to Canada.
Discussing the move, Anne said: “She maybe just doesn’t like England or Great Britain.”
Ken then jokingly responded: “Why? Nothing wrong with it… except for the weather.”
Born in 1948 in Consett, County Durham, Ken worked as a postmaster for three decades.
He then went on to become a local councillor, before retiring in 2013.
A special tribute to Ken will be aired at the end of Gogglebox tonight, Studio Lambert confirmed.
