OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: A DRAMATIC KIDNAPPING IS ABOUT TO SEND SHOCKWAVES THROUGH IDRIS’S STORYLINE!

🚗 Vigilante Justice on Waste Ground: Idris Nazir and Brody Michaelis Stage Shock Kidnapping!

The stakes on the Cobbles are hitting a terrifying, criminal new high next week. Coronation Street fans are in for a pitch-black twist as charismatic newcomer Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) exposes his ruthless criminal underbelly, dragging his young apprentice Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) into a dangerous, heavy-handed kidnapping plot.

While Idris is currently facing a massive neighborhood backlash as the slumlord responsible for landing baby Alfie Webster in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to toxic black mould, he is ready to shift the blame—by force.

🏥 “Too Little, Too Late” — Alfie’s ICU Horror Sparks Revenge

The nightmare begins when a suffering Alfie is rushed to A&E with severe breathing difficulties, leaving a distraught Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) plotting legal ruin with solicitor Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).

While a shocked Idris attempts to front things out at the hospital, the reality of his terrible business decisions sets in. He bought the mold-infested property from a shady developer without ever getting a proper survey done. When Leanne Battersby and Alya Nazir try to comfort him by saying it isn’t entirely his fault, it triggers a dark, dangerous switch inside the businessman. He wants payback.

🥊 Abandoned Wasteland and Dirty Work: Junade Khan Confirms the Plot

Speaking to The Mirror, Idris star Junade Khan officially broke his silence on the shocking vigilante plot, revealing that Idris is prepared to go to horrific lengths to punish the previous landlord who duped him.

Instead of going to the police, Idris drafts in his easily influenced apprentice, Brody Michaelis, to handle the physical enforcement.

“They stick him in the car, take him to wasteland and threaten him and Brody hits him,” Junade Khan teased. “He gets Brody to do his dirty work, so that his own hands are clean. He’s got this darker side when it comes to business, but at the same time, there’s a humanity to him.”

💸 Will Brody Take the Fall for Kidnapping?

By forcing Brody to throw the punches and bundle the dodgy developer into the back of his car, Idris is brilliantly keeping his own hands legally spotless.

But as viewers already know from upcoming spoilers, they aren’t nearly as invisible as they think. A sharp-eyed Abi Webster is set to catch them in the act, spotting Brody forcing the man into the vehicle before reporting the crime straight back to a horrified Sally Metcalfe.

Idris might think he’s balancing business with a twisted sense of street justice, but he has just set his young foster-son apprentice on a direct, fast-track route straight back to a young offenders’ institute. Is it already too late for Tim and Sally to pull Brody back from the edge?
