The Young and the Restless not only has Jack and Kyle frantic with worry over an MIA Diane’s whereabouts but understandably fearful that cuckoo Patty has something to do with her disappearance. The first Mrs. Abbott would love nothing more, after all, than for the latest Mrs. Abbott to exit stage left, never to be seen again.

But we can reassure one and all that Jack’s current better half is alive and well… or at least soon will be. How can we be so certain?

Photos released ahead of the show’s big crossover with Beyond the Gates reveal that Diane is in attendance at the black-tie fundraiser that takes place in Fairmont Crest the week of June 8. (More on that here courtesy of Vernon’s portrayer, Clifton Davis.)

As a matter of fact, Diane looks to be Jack’s date at the event — which is the first sign we’ve had in ages that she isn’t going to pull the plug on their marriage in the wake of his sexual assault by Patty. (Why Diane blamed the victim, we’ll never understand.)
