Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley has been sharing the love for her co-star amid a number of exits from the ITV soap.
Lisa’s show alter-ego Mandy Dingle is mum to Vinny Dingle.
It was confirmed a few days ago that Bradley Johnson, who has played Vinny for seven years, will say goodbye to life in the village this year.
The news left fans shocked, as it came after news that two more cast members are departing.
Olivia Bromley, who portrays Dawn Taylor, is exiting the show, while Emmerdale icon Nick Miles aka Jimmy King is also leaving.
Recently, Lisa took to her Instagram to share a sweet selfie of her and Bradley.
The pair are dressed in their Mandy and Vinny outfits, and are both smiling with big grins at the camera.
In a heartfelt message, Lisa wrote in the caption: ‘Me and my boy @bradjakejohnson gorgeous morning at our @emmerdale village. #emmerdale.’
Bradley joined the cast as Vinny in 2019. He was raised by his violent father Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) but when he left the family home, Mandy became Vinny’s only parental figure in his life.
Everything changed for him in 2024, when Vinny discovered that his biological mother is Tina Dingle (Samantha Power).
Last year, Vinny was part of a powerful storyline that saw him explore his sexuality. After almost kissing friend Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), Vinny was left with a number of overwhelming thoughts about who he really is.
During this journey, Vinny got married to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham). When she discovered that he’s attracted to men, they chose to stay together, but things came to an end due to Gabby feeling paranoid about what Vinny was up to.
The character, who resides at Dale View, is now in a relationship with Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches).
Elsewhere, it was confirmed this week that Caroline Harker is also exiting. She was first introduced as Doctor Caitlin Todd for a brief storyline last year, but returned at the start of 2026 for a storyline that highlighted workplace bullying.
The soap shared the news a few days ago that Doctor Todd’s plot will take a very dark turn this weekend, as she will sexually assault Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), the woman she’s been blackmailing.
