A TRAGIC FAREWELL FOR DAWN AS A DARK AND SINISTER ENDING LOOMS IN THE VILLAGE 💔⏳.tt

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) has issued a warning to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) in Emmerdale, fearing that she’s in too deep with her plan to destroy Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

After the discovery that her partner assisted in having Moira framed, took advantage of a vulnerable Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins), and also cut down Holly Barton’s tree, Dawn decided it was time to get revenge on Joe.

She had confronted him multiple times about these situations and asked if he was involved, but Joe denied everything. Feeling hurt, angry and betrayed, Dawn arrived at Wishing Well and asked for Moira and Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) help with her plan.

The goal for Dawn is to take everything that belongs to Joe. So far, she’s actually doing a pretty good job. She’s managed to secure a fair bit of his cash through some clever deception, and is under the impression Joe is totally oblivious to what she’s doing.

The risk of everything unravelling increased in this evening’s episode, and it was because of Cain. Following his prostate cancer surgery, Cain is struggling to get to grips with the side effects and how much his body has changed in a short period of time. It means he’s quite irritable and needs to be left alone really – but this was a message Joe obviously didn’t get.

After arguing with Joe in the pub, Cain stopped himself from going any further due to Moira arriving and shooting him a dark look.

The fact that her husband has such a short fuse around Joe left Moira worried about Dawn’s plan. At the Dingle home a while later, she told Dawn to leave the village now. Moira said that she’d explain everything to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), but believes it’s better for Dawn and her children to depart in case things get seriously out of hand.

It was food for thought – but it seems a much darker ending is waiting for Dawn later this week.

Following a comment from Joe about how happy he is with his large and dysfunctional Home Farm family, Dawn fails to realise that his words are all part of Joe’s own plan – because he knows what she’s up to.

And of course if Joe knows, that means Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) does as well. In future episodes, Graham tells Joe to sort Dawn out, but he reassures his mate and says it’s all in hand.

Graham then returns to Home Farm and finds Dawn collapsed at the bottom of the stairs. Just as he goes to call for help, Joe appears.

Graham wonders what Joe has done – but has he taken to putting Dawn’s life in danger to get his own revenge?
