Meanwhile, Graham was investigating the fires when he found Kyle watching his Golf burn. After seeing the teen put a lighter in his pocket, Graham realised that Kyle was the mystery arsonist.
Graham took Kyle to hide in his car as Moira turned up to see the car in flames. While Graham was understanding of Kyle’s emotional state, he warned him that if he didn’t come clean himself, he’d have to tell Cain and Moira.
Tonight (Tuesday 2 June) Moira was still determined to find the culprit, as Cain searched for a new car for Kyle online.
Later, Moira saw Graham in the coffee shop and told him she knew he was covering for someone over the fires.
Moira said she didn’t believe Graham would be unable to uncover the firestarter so he must either be protecting someone or he’s the one whose been setting the farm alight.
Graham assured Moira that no one was out to get her, instead the fires were targeting Joe and he’s handled the situation.
However the conversation was overheard by Joe who, after Moira left, confronted Graham about who was after him.
Back at the farm, Graham told Joe he had made it all up but wouldn’t reveal who he was covering for, saying that some people deserve a second chance.
After school Kyle spoke to his dad and seemed like he was going to tell him something about the fires until Moira appeared and told them Graham had found the firestarter.
Later, in The Hide, Graham found Kyle and the teen thanked him for not telling Moira and Cain.
Kyle explained that he wanted to come clean but felt too guilty about what he had done.
When he asked Graham why he’d covered for him, Graham said that he knew he was a good boy who was just going through a lot.
However Graham added that he couldn’t keep setting fire to things when he was angry. Explaining that he’d gone through something similar when he was young, Graham said Kyle needed to find something that would give him structure and purpose.
When Kyle asked him what he meant, Graham said: “Leave that to me.” What does Graham have in mind for Kyle?
