Emmerdale is set to lose another familiar face in the coming months. Bradley Johnson, who plays Vinny Dingle, is the latest name reportedly leaving as the ITV soap continues its cast shake-up.
Johnson joined the cast in 2019 as Vinny, the adopted son of Mandy Dingle, as part of Lisa Riley’s big return storyline.
Vinny was later revealed to be the biological son of Mandy’s cousin, Tina Dingle, and Paul Ashdale.
News of Johnson’s departure was first reported by The Sun, with a source telling the outlet: “Bradley is a very popular member of the cast and especially close with his on-screen Dingle family,” adding that Riley was “devastated” over the news.
Vinny’s storylines have seen him deal with the return of his abusive father Paul, his relationship with Liv Flaherty and her untimely death, his short-lived marriage to Gabby Thomas, struggling with his sexuality, and his friendship with Kammy Hadiq.
Most recently fans have seen Vinny involved with Lewis Barton.
