If The Bold and the Beautiful is having Li scrub back in — and it is — that can only mean one thing: We’re about to find out what Sheila has been up to since Deacon stuck a fork in their marriage.
It’s been a minute since we saw Kimberlin Brown’s woman scorned and even longer since we caught up with her best (well, only) friend, Naomi Matsuda’s Li. But on May 20, Matsuda shared via Instagram that “Li Finnegan’s back!”
If you’ll recall, the doctor was for the longest time Sheila’s only confidante. She even shared with Li that if Taylor ever crossed the line with Deacon — and boy, has the shrink! — she’d kill her.
Obviously, Sheila hasn’t made good on that threat — yet. But Bold & Beautiful has gone out of its way to suggest that she isn’t as “changed” as she loves to proclaim that she is. First, there was that wicked grin the last time we saw the merry murderess. Later, the soap dropped a flashback that played like an eerie tease of things to come.
Now, finally, we may be about to learn where Sheila has been crashing and what she’s been doing — well, plotting, more accurately. Our hunch is that Li’s been letting her hang at her place while she figures out her next steps. But will the doc be able to steer her pal clear of her homicidal tendencies? TBD.
