🚨 THE SMOKING GUN: 6 EXPLOSIVE CLUES THAT PROVE KYLE WINCHESTER WAS EMMERDALE’S SECRET PYROMANIAC ALL ALONG! 🔥.tt

Emmerdale confirmed its mystery arsonist in Friday’s episode (29 May) as Kyle Winchester was seen destroying evidence that linked him to the recent blazes.

As Aaron Dingle told his family that the culprit had been spotted wearing a dark hoodie nearby, we saw Kyle sneaking off to burn a very similar-looking item of clothing. A cover-up begins…

Fans had been suspicious over Kyle’s behaviour for a while, but did you spot the signs?

1. Kyle’s upheaval

ITV

Kyle lost his home when the Tates bought Butlers and then allowed Robert and Aaron to take over as tenant farmers.

While Moira has taken ownership of her decision to sell up, and Cain has learned to live with it, Kyle has struggled with such a big change. This left him with a clear grievance against Robert and Aaron.

In early April, he even briefly went missing until Robert found him in a hiding spot at Butlers, the one place he felt safe.

“It still feels like home,” Kyle told Robert. “I used to hide there every time something went wrong.” Living with Cain and Moira, that must have been pretty often!

2. Kyle’s worry for Cain

ITV

Kyle was still in a troubled state of mind on Friday 15 May – the episode that featured the first blaze.

Moira found her distracted stepson at Wishing Well Cottage when he was supposed to be at school. Kyle made the excuse that he’d forgotten his science book – maybe he was looking up combustion?

Kyle expressed concern for his father, asking: “Is dad alright? He seemed sad last night…”

The Dingles have all pulled together since Cain was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Kyle has been aware of the tough reality and still fears losing his dad.

3. Kyle’s guilty look

ITV

Emmerdale fans really started to suspect that Kyle was the arsonist last week, as Aaron discussed the baffling mystery with Cain and Moira at Wishing Well.

Viewers noticed that Kyle, who was sitting doing his homework nearby, looked up and appeared shifty when Moira questioned who would do such a thing.

The camera lingered on Kyle for this moment – it was definitely a clue that the show wanted us to notice…

4. Kyle’s difficulties connecting with Cain

ITV

Kyle has struggled with Cain not being able to spend time with him in the usual way since his operation. Cain has been told to take it easy while he recovers, but Kyle feels left out in the cold.

In the coming days, we’ll see how anxious thoughts about this change in their relationship are partly influencing Kyle’s behaviour.

5. The closing credits

ITV

Soap bosses were accused of a blunder when Kyle appeared top of the closing credits in an episode last week, indicating that he’d been the first character to appear.

The first scene of the episode had seen the hooded “mystery arsonist” at work, which appeared to crack the case early!

6. He’s got form

ITV

Kyle may seem innocent, but viewers haven’t forgotten that he was the culprit in another mystery storyline – Al Chapman’s death in 2022.

A flashback episode showed that panic-stricken Kyle pulled the trigger and shot Al, who’d been fighting with Cain in a barn.

Cain chose to take the blame for what had happened, but Kyle was later forced to face the consequences of his actions.

Is he now at risk of more trouble with the police?
